Day 1: Arrival and Drive to Samburu National Reserve
Upon your arrival in Nairobi, you will be warmly welcomed by Africa Unlocked Tours and Travel staff. After a safari briefing at the hotel or airport, you will be introduced to your experienced driver-guide, who will escort you on your drive to Samburu National Reserve. Along the way, you’ll pass through lush coffee and tea plantations. Upon arrival, check in at your lodge and enjoy lunch before heading out for an afternoon game drive at 3:30 PM. You’ll explore the reserve until sunset, observing the unique wildlife that Samburu has to offer.

Day 2: Samburu National Reserve Game Drives
Start your day with breakfast, followed by a morning game drive, returning to the lodge for lunch and relaxation. At 3:00 PM, you’ll set out again for an evening game drive, with opportunities to spot species such as lions, elephants, and the rare Grevy's zebras, until sunset.

Day 3: Samburu to Ol Pejeta Conservancy
After breakfast, check out and depart for Ol Pejeta Conservancy. Arriving in time for lunch, you’ll be at one of the best places in the world to see chimpanzees and the last two remaining Northern white rhinos. At 3:30 PM, embark on an afternoon game drive, where you can expect to see not only rhinos and chimpanzees but also lions, cheetahs, elephants, and a variety of bird species. This is also your chance for close interaction with some animals, particularly rhinos.

Day 4: Ol Pejeta to Lake Nakuru National Park
After breakfast, you will depart for Lake Nakuru National Park with a stopover at the scenic Thompson Waterfalls and the Equator for a photo session. Upon arrival at Lake Nakuru, check in to your lodge and enjoy lunch. In the afternoon, you’ll embark on a 3:30 PM game drive to explore this park, renowned for its flocks of flamingos, rhinos, and the elusive tree-climbing lions.

Day 5: Lake Nakuru to Masai Mara National Reserve
After breakfast and a final game drive in Lake Nakuru, you’ll set off for the world-famous Masai Mara National Reserve. There will be a brief stopover at Narok town for a washroom break. You’ll arrive at your lodge in time for lunch and then head out for an afternoon game drive at 3:30 PM. Expect to see African elephants, giraffes, lions, wildebeests, and more as you explore the vast savannah until sunset.

Day 6: Full Day Game Drive in Masai Mara
After breakfast, you’ll depart at 7:00 AM for a full day of game viewing with packed lunch boxes. Spend the entire day traversing the Mara’s expansive plains in search of wildlife, including the famed Big Five. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the wilderness and continue your exploration until late afternoon. For those interested, an optional visit to a nearby Maasai village is available for an additional fee of USD 25 per person.

Day 7: Masai Mara to Hell’s Gate National Park & Lake Naivasha
After breakfast, you will depart for Hell’s Gate National Park, where you will visit the Geothermal Power Plant at Olkaria and explore the park’s famous hot springs. Hell’s Gate is unique in that it allows visitors to explore on foot or by bicycle, offering a more intimate wildlife experience. Afterward, you’ll check in at your hotel for lunch and relaxation. In the afternoon, there’s an optional visit to Crescent Island and a serene boat ride on Lake Naivasha, where you can walk among wildlife like gazelles, giraffes, wildebeests, and zebras.

Day 8: Lake Naivasha to Amboseli National Park
Following breakfast, you will check out and depart for Amboseli National Park, stopping at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint for panoramic photos. Arrive at Amboseli in time for lunch at your lodge. At 3:30 PM, head out for an afternoon game drive, where you’ll be treated to stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro and sightings of elephants, giraffes, lions, and more.

Day 9: Full Day Game Drive in Amboseli National Park
After breakfast, set out at 7:00 AM for a full day of game viewing with packed lunch boxes. Explore Amboseli’s diverse landscapes, from swamps to savannahs, as you search for wildlife. Enjoy a picnic lunch atop Observation Hill, with breathtaking views of the park below. Continue your game drive until late afternoon before returning to your lodge.

Day 10: Return to Nairobi
After breakfast, you will depart Amboseli with a final en-route game drive as you head back to Nairobi. You will arrive in the afternoon, where you’ll be dropped off at your hotel or the airport, marking the end of your unforgettable safari adventure.
